Immer sind es die Familien am Rande der Gesellschaft, deren Kinder mit Arbeit zum Familieneinkommen beitragen m\u00fcssen. Zeit f\u00fcr die Schule bleibt keine, und eine Zukunft in Armut ist damit vorgezeichnet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gegen Kinderarbeit in Westbengalen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Um acht Uhr morgens stehen vor dem Children Rehabilitation Centre um die 100 Heimkinder in frisch geb\u00fcgelter Schuluniform und mit gepackten Schulranzen. Fast alle diese Kinder sind ehemalige Kinderarbeiter. Es sind rund 250 Kinder, die in den vergangenen acht Jahren von den Mitarbeitenden der Kinderrechtsorganisation Bal Suraksha Abhiyan Trust (BSAT) und der Polizei befreit wurden. Neben der Befreiung unterdr\u00fcckter M\u00e4dchen und Jungen will das Projekt die Anzahl der Schulg\u00e4nger markant erh\u00f6hen.<\/p>\n<p>Um die Rechte der Kinder auf Schutz und Bildung zu sichern, m\u00fcssen Bev\u00f6lkerung und staatliche Stellen sensibilisiert werden. Dazu werden auf Gemeinde- und Distriktebene Kinderschutzkomitees und Kinderrechtsnetzwerke eingerichtet, die eine Kontrollfunktion innehaben und die Beh\u00f6rden an ihre Pflichten erinnern: So brauche es Einrichtungen f\u00fcr unterdr\u00fcckte Kinder und eine umfassende strafrechtliche Verfolgung der Personen, die Kinderarbeit zulie\u00dfen. F\u00fcr die Kinder selbst stehen Kinderclubs zur Verf\u00fcgung, in denen sie Unterst\u00fctzung erhalten, zum Beispiel bei den Hausaufgaben. Hier lernen sie aber auch, f\u00fcr ihre Rechte selbst einzustehen. Um den speziellen Bedarf der Kinder zu erkennen und sie gezielt zu f\u00f6rdern, erhalten die Lehrkr\u00e4fte Schulungen, in denen sie auch lernen, wie der Ausgrenzung der Kinder entgegengewirkt werden kann. Mit Nachhilfekursen werden die Defizite der Kinder ausgeglichen. Die Eltern spielen eine wichtige Rolle, denn von ihrem Willen ist vieles abh\u00e4ngig. In Eltern-Seminaren werden sie best\u00e4rkt, ihre Kinder zur Schule zu schicken.<\/p>\n<h3>Impressionen<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
